As you all know from my Instagram, I have been flooding quite a ton of photos from our recent trip to Dakak in Dapitan, Philippines. But how can I not?? The place is so huge and it’s impossible not to take a lot of photos especially when the landscape and seascape is so Instagramable!

Imagine craving for hot wings pass midnight, or after a couple of drinks late at night or in my case – after work (since I finish at midnight). It was May 1st and for those who may not know, it’s Labor Day in the Philippines. Although I do have an option to work on this day but really who am I kidding? Of course I’m taking all the days off whenever I can especially when its Labor Day. Duh haha!
So how did I spent my labor day, you may ask? I went to the beach to celebrate the day with food, drinks and of course great music powered by JBL at Azure Beach Club. For more than 7 decades, JBL has been bringing people closer through great music experiences – from concert venues, opera houses, sports stadiums, movie theater, to homes and just on the first day of May, they hosted an event dubbed as JBL Summer Lounge here in Cebu.

Summer season is finally upon us and although our country the Philippines is always sunny all year round, it is these months that the heat just seems to be unbearable that you just wanna spend everyday at the beach or dip in the pool whenever you can. Luckily for us living in Cebu, a beach trip in only a few minutes away from the city and just last week, we had a chance to visit one of the prettiest resort in town – Plantation Bay Resort and Spa.
