An Afternoon with Food, Drinks and Great Music

It was May 1st and for those who may not know, it’s Labor Day in the Philippines. Although I do have an option to work on this day but really who am I kidding? Of course I’m taking all the days off whenever I can especially when its Labor Day. Duh haha!

So how did I spent my labor day, you may ask? I went to the beach to celebrate the day with food, drinks and of course great music powered by JBL at Azure Beach Club. For more than 7 decades, JBL has been bringing people closer through great music experiences – from concert venues, opera houses, sports stadiums, movie theater, to homes and just on the first day of May, they hosted an event dubbed as JBL Summer Lounge here in Cebu.

The Summer Lounge Party started early in the morning for the beach goers to enjoy but we arrived around 4pm in the afternoon, just perfect for sunset chill time. Their area was easily spotted. With yellow bin bags, blue floatable loungers, orange life rings and being oh so colorful in general, how can you possibly miss it?

We settled in and soon food and drinks came for us! Board games are also provided for the guest to enjoy which I thought was so thoughtful of them. I saw another table with fellow bloggers who are playing Jenga with in-house guest. Talk about making friends over food, drinks, games and music! It was so much fun!
