Hello 2016!!! So I just realized that I haven’t published any outfit post since the year started. I was so caught up with work, holiday parties and events since the last few weeks of 2015 until the start of 2016. After the biggest festival here in Cebu, Sinulog 2016 which was celebrated last January 17 (every 3rd Sunday the this month), I thought to myself, “finally I can now have a good night’s sleep for days” (rather good day’s sleep since I work at night) but I was wrong! It was last Monday when I realized my younger sister’s 18th birthday was in 3 days and will celebrate it the coming weekend and she still haven’t prepared anything but 30+ guest! The “ate” in me was so stressed out and started planning for her celebration! Not to mention the general cleaning involved because she planned to have it celebrated here at home. Whew! Last Saturday’s rooftop party was a success though considering the last minute preparations and all of her friends had so much fun and that’s all that matters! Today’s my Monday rest day and i can officially relax and actually rest on my day off and of course, catching up with my blog! Yey!
On to my outfit post. I wore this very simple yet classy ensemble to a Saturday chill out with my blogger friends. We discovered a new place in town called Scape Skydeck and the photos were nice and inviting so we booked our Saturday to visit the place. The place was beautiful and the city view was just so wonderful! Perfect for sunset sessions and chill nights. When we were there, I notice a familiar face and realized it was my high school classmate on the next table. We had a short chit-chat and apparently his relative owns the place including the residential building. What a small world! The restaurant is located on top of Azon Residences, M.L. Quezon National Highway, Lapu Lapu City (residence building right across Shell station, few meters away from Cebu-Mactan new bridge).
Since we were visiting late afternoon until evening, I imagined the place will be a bit chilly and windy since its located on top of a 12 storey residential condominium. So I wore this washed out denim jeans and my newly purchased top and bag from Memo. Kept the look minimal by adding layers of thin dainty necklaces. Nude pumps to finish the look.
Peek a boo! One reason why I fell in love with this top is because of this back detail! Gorg!
Top and Bag : Memo | Denim Jeans: Thrifted | Shoes : Zalora Label | Accesories : Forever 21 | Watch : Casio
I actually wore the exact same outfit when I attended #Sugbusog2016 at Cafe Marco and lemme tell you, there is nothing wrong in repeating clothes. It’s totally fine if you do. Even Kate Middleton repeats her outfit so don’t feel bad about yourself. LOL
