Althea’s in-house brand – A’Bloom just launch last month and we are here for it!
As you might already know from my previous blog post, Althea launch not just one but a lot of in-house products already since the end of last year and so far they are doing pretty well! They’ve already come up with some skincare, make ups ranging from powders, concealers, lip tint to even an eye shadow palette! When I thought that ‘that was it’ then I’m clearly wrong because I guest they ain’t stopping anytime soon because just last month, they launch a new set of collection called A’Bloom and everyone was just so excited for the product reveal!
If you have been following Althea’s Instagram page, then you must have seen the day to day reveal of their A’Bloom collection. To sum it all up, in this line they have four new things to share – a blackhead/whitehead remover/scrub stick, a beauty sponge, a large and tiny version of it and lastly four, yes FOUR different mask (which I am most excited about). For today’s post I will be sharing to you my first impression on all of the products in this collection and if it is worth the hype!
BHA Blackhead Blaster
What It Claims:
– Easy and no pain blackhead and whitehead removal
– Fast Results with natural non-irritant ingredients
– Melts away impurities and prevents future breakouts
How To Use:
1. After cleansing your makeup, apply onto the targeted areas with excessive sebum.
2. Gently massage in a circular motion to release trapped oil and dirt.
3. Rinse off with lukewarm water.
– For more effective cleansing, place a warm towel onto the skin before use to open pores.
My First Impression:
I like the packaging. It’s very straight forward on how to use the product and love how it has an addition protective cover inside. While using it for the first time, I didn’t feel any irritation and whatsoever which is great. However, the Blackhead and whitehead removal part, I can’t really tell if it’s working since I just used it once yet. Maybe I’ll try a couple more times and see the difference.
Retails at P200 each.

My First Impression:
First of all, can we talk about it’s shape? It’s the cutest and nothing like any other beauty sponge there is out in the market (or nothing that I know of). I also love the fact that when wet, it expands to 1.5x bigger from it’s normal size! It definitely cuts your foundation time in half! Really soft too. I recommend!

I haven’t used all of the 4 yet but I have tried Water-Me-Long and it sure was very relaxing on the face. I like the transparency effect when placed on the face too. I also think that it was enough for them to come up with four different kinds of mask depending on what your skin needs. You have for brightening, for moisture, nourishment and anti-blemish mask.
