When it comes to Korean beauty products, I always rely on getting it at Althea. That’s why when they started launching products from their own line, I was super excited to try them out myself!
If you are not yet aware, Althea already did launch a few products late last year. That includes a few cleansers, setting powder, sunscreen and a cream mask (you can check all of them here). This year they are definitely coming out with a bang as they are launching more products with more shades! That includes 4 shades of concealer, 4 shades of cream tints, 2 eye glitters and a 8-shades eye shadow palette! How exciting!
FLAWLESS CREAMY CONCEALER
I have been waiting for Althea to release a concealer for so longggg and now its finally here! I’ve already tested them out and I really liked how it feels on the skin. It doesn’t feel cakey at all and it does the job of concealing dark circles and spots. It has that buildable formula and is made with Aquaxyl to make the skin smooth, moisturize and doesn’t make your face dry for the rest of the day.
It has 4 shades to choose from :
Vanilla (Pink beige #21)
Ginger (Warm ivory #21)
Honey (Warm peach #23-#25)
Mocha (Deeper yellow #30)

WATERCOLOR CREAM TINT
Another first from Althea is their Watercolor Cream Tints. This long-wearing , hydrating lip tints has a power of a stain and the moisturizing formula of a gloss. I am not usually a fan of glossy lip products but this one is bearable and not super sticky which I love. I usually go for an ombre lip when using this.
It has 4 shades to choose from as well:
Maroon Cream : An MLBB shade made from browns and pinks for a chic, everyday look
Peach Cream : A brightening, fresh coral with pink undertones to suit both warm and cool skin tone
Strawberry Cream : A juicy red reminiscent of freshly bitten strawberries
Plum Cream : A rich, luxurious plum shade, perfect for a night out
Get the Cream Tint here or as a set here.
SPOTLIGHT EYE GLITTER
Althea’s Spotlight Eye Glitter comes in 2 shades, Gold Light and Pink Light. This can actually be use as a eye shadow for that extra sparkle on the eye or as a liner to lighten up the eye. The white one from the outside makes it look like a white shade glitter but then applied on the skin it actually shows as a gold shade! I love it!
It comes with 2 shades:
Gold Light
Pink Light

SUNRISE & MOONRISE BCL X ALTHEA EYE SHADOW PALETTE
Althea’s very first eye shadow palette has finally come to life! It is a collaboration between Althea and Bunga Citra Lestari, or who is popularly known as BCL is an Indonesia singer and actress that popular across South East Asia. What I love about this palette is you can actually achieve a day to night eye look. You’ll see what I mean when you reach my tutorial below.
The palette comes in 8 shades:
Sunrise: #1 #2 #3 #4
Moonrise: #5 #6 #7 #8

DAY TO NIGHT EYE LOOK
As promised on my Ig Stories, I will be sharing the eye look that I came up with using the Sunrise Moonrise palette.
-
at this point. I already did my foundation and brows. to define my brows, I use althea’s concealer in the shade honey on the top and bottom of my brows to get that clean edges.
-
im using the same concealer to prep my eyes for eye shadow. also added concealer to my eye bags area to conceal them dark circles. After that I Dotted a few concealer on targeted areas and blended it out with a sponge or your fingers till seamless.
-
Using shade #2 from the palette as a base of my eye look. blend it all over the eyelids.
-
Next is i’m dipping my brush to the shade #5 and applied it on the outer edge of my eye. slowly blend that in the lids as well.
-
Don’t forget the bottom of the eyes!
-
lastly for the day look, I added just a bit of shade #6 and blend it on my lids as well. not too much but just a bit of purple shade won’t hurt.
Daytime eye look is now done!
7. For the night time look, we want our eyes to shine a little so I’m adding a mix of shade #4 and Althea’s Spotlight Eye Glitter in Gold Light at the bottom part of the lids, very close to the lashes.
8. Add eye liner, mascara and falsies (optional) to finish up the look! I also topped my lips with a bit of Althea’s Watercolor Cream Tints in Maroon Cream.
Here’s the finished night time look:
What do you think? I hope you’ll try this out too and please tag me on IG @keiseee when you do. I had so much fun playing around this palette and I hope you will too!
