#LifeinManila: Saturday Morning Spent at % Arabica Philippines

Finally got to try Arabica’s most talked about coffee from Kyoto, Japan with  Shienna during her quick visit in the Capital. It was nice to catch up with fellow Cebu blogger over great coffee!

Finally I am able to blog! This is my first entry on my #LifeinManila series here on my blog (read why here) and I’m glad I was able to visit the BGC branch of Arabica during my first few weeks.

There are countless of good food places that I wanted to try here and it is quite overwhelming to be honest. It is also hard to just squeeze it all in one day because of course it would be so much gastos din. But for me as much as possible, I would like to visit at least one, weather it be a coffee shop, a bazaar, a good restaurant every weekend.

It was when Shienna, a fellow Cebu blogger informed be that she will be here for the weekend and wanted to meet up with me. At first I felt like I was responsible on touring her around here (which I find it hard because like I said, there’s a lot of places to go talaga and it’s so hard to choose haha) but good thing she already have something in mind to visit – Arabica!

I heard so much good feedback over this coffee shop online and I personally want to try it myself! So when Shienna mentioned she wanted to try it too, I was all game!

I already loved the interiors the moment I walked in. The simple yet cozy space makes you want to sit down and enjoy your coffee for hours!

Shienna got their Cafe latte (left) and I got their Spanish latte (right). Their Cafe latte is great for when you need that caffeine kick in your system. If you’re into the sweet side, then the Spanish latte is for you. I like my coffee sweet but not too sweet which is why I like their Spanish latte. I just learned that the Spanish drink is not even served in Kyoto, where Arabica is originally from. It is a special drink adopted from Arabica Kuwait and was brought here given that most Filipinos prefer their coffee sweet.
