If you haven’t heard the news yet (read full story here), I am currently in Manila but before I flew in last Monday, I had to drop by one of the newest restaurant in town – Kudoku Restaurants and Bar.
It was just a few days back when I heard the news that I will be relocated in Manila for a couple of months so after hearing this, I just had to set a dinner asap with the main man before the long weekend as I am scheduled to leave that Monday. Kudoku was one of the newest restaurant that is near my workplace so we decided to meet and dine there that evening.
I heard this place serves Japanese inspired dishes and with this, I was so intrigued that we decided to give it a try.
I initially wanted to try their sushi but unfortunately they don’t have it on their menu on weekdays. I’m not sure why but we ordered a plate of Crispy Salmon Belly and their version of Pork Sisig and Chicken Karaage instead.
I really liked their version of pork sisig. It’s delicious! If you don’t prefer oily/fried foods, they do have other options to choose from. Don’t hesitate to ask the waitress and they will be able to help you out.
Chicken Karaage – P245
Boneless chicken thigh fillet in a soy marinade. Deep fried till crispy and served in Chili mayo
Sizzling Pork Sizzling – P210
Braised pork mask and pork belly sautéed in chilies topped with crispy chicharon and egg
Crispy Salmon Belly – P225
Crispy deep-fried Salmon Belly served with a tangy yuzu mayo
Kudoku also serves some cocktail drinks at their bar on the second floor. Perfect way to cap off a work week!
Check their menu during weekdays below:
(not sure if they have a separate offerings on weekends or if they update new ones every now and then)
Kudoku is located at The Greenery, Juan Luna Avenue, Mabolo, Cebu City. They are open from Mondays to Saturdays, 4PM – 1AM. You may follow their Facebook Page for more of their latest offerings and up to date promotions.
Wow the food looks amazing!
