A couple of weeks back, I got an invitation from Maple Cebu for their Grand Opening event last month. I got excited after reading the e-mail and it was an instant YES for me! and to be honest, it was my 1st invitation as a blogger and I was a little bit nervous since I’m new to this blogging community but excited to meet new people as well!

For those of you who don’t know, Maple is Manila’s premier all-day fine-dining restaurant where modern cuisine meets a family friendly atmosphere. The restaurant features western-styled comfort food with an American trained chef, international methods and top quality ingredients. Inspired by classic children’s fairy tales, service staff pay extra attention to ensure that all guests, young and old, are transported to a home away from home.

Maple’s debut locations in Makati , Mandaluyong and Alabang are already getting raves for its unique blend of casual and modern food fare and now, one of Manila’s talked about restaurant has finally made its way to the Queen City of the South, opening their first provincial outlet in Ayala Center Cebu!

So happy to be able to try some of the dishes from their menu which was part of the cocktails during the event.

Croquettas
Light and fluffy potato balls stuffed with chili con carne and drizzled with tomato salsa

Pizzadilla
Chicken quesdilla topped with arugula and melted formmagio

Naked Horseman
Lemon, limes, apples and mint soaking in fresh orange juice and white wine

and lastly, what we had for dinner is

The Salmon Catch
A fresh Salmon fillet, lightly seasoned and then either grilled, pan-seared or blackened to you liking, served with texas summer vegetables and orzo pasta.

 And once again, thank you #MaplePH for having us at #MapleCebu’s Grand Lauching! I had so much fun hanging out this these girls too! I will definitely come back and will try that Maple Burger on my next visit!! hehe 🙂
