FWD Life Philippines Makes Its Way to the Queen City of the South!

My Sinulog weekend was definitely more fun with FWD Life Philippines!

Honesty, I have never heard of FWD Life but I’m glad that I was introduced to the brand just a few weeks ago. At this age, I was never really into the idea of having ‘insurance’, but FWD definitely changes how you will feel about it by offering products that speak to the needs of different people across different lifestyles.

From Hong Kong to Macau, Thailand to Indonesia, FWD is breathing new life into the insurance industry especially in the Philippines as they first successfully introduced the brand in Metro Manila last August 2016. This year, they continue to expand their product offerings ranging from premium life insurance to wealth and financial planning services to other major cities in the country – specifically Baguio, CDO, Davao and Cebu.

FWD, the country’s fastest-growing insurance company is focused on creating fresh customer experiences with easy-to-understand products, supported by leading digital technologies. Through this customer-led approach, FWD will achieve its vision to become the leading pan-Asian insurer that changes the way people feel about insurance.

And what better time to launch FWD Life Philippines’ innovative lifestyle trends and rewards app, Orange World, than during Cebu’s biggest festival of the year – Sinulog 2017! Orange World aims to become the go-to source of trends and news where users can avail of perks and discounts at partner establishments via their “passion points”. These points can be earned by simply logging in, reading, sharing, or liking content and rewards. No purchase or membership required to avail perks and freebies which are offered and made possible by FWD Life Philippines and Orange World partners.

Among Orange World’s 32 carefully curated partner establishments for this quarter are nine up-and-coming, homegrown brands in Cebu – Lovvey Doggy, Albur’s, Bintana Coffee House, Abeseria, Memory Crafters, Cafe Cinema, Cebu Canyoneering, E-Philippines and The Barracks Cebu.

“We feel that the spirit and vibe of Sinulog just fits the brand’s DNA”, shares Roche Vandenberghe, Head of Marketing of FWD Life Philippines. “What better time to launch a mobile phone app that encourages people to celebrate and live their passions, than at a time when people are actually celebration and living their passion?”

So for the whole weekend, FWD actually hosted a few activities that people can actually participate, have fun and win prices – from 15,000 up to 30,000 pesos CASH!! They set up booth at Cebu It Park for 3 days and along Jones Avenue on the day of Sinulog Sunday.

Of all activities, FWD’s Fill My Cup Bikepool Challenge was my favorite where participants had the chance to win P15,000 in cash by simply forming a group of at least 6-8 persons, register at the booth and bike your way at Cebu It Park while singing FWD’s theme song “Fill My Cup” by Mig Ayesa.

Whether it’s for life protection or for building wealth, FWD Life Philippines is here to enable you to do more today and fear less about the future. To stop hesitating and start doing more of the things that excites you. They’re here to change the way you feel about insurance by helping you grab the things you want out of life.
