For those of you who don’t know, it’s rainy season in the Philippines right now. The rainy seasons starts around June and lasts till the end of the year where September and October are often the typhoon season here in the country. Although foreign visitors think that it is always summer in the Philippines – which is true but it is this time of the year that we get this bipolar weather.
So whenever the sun decided to show up, I always take the opportunity and end up going for summer pieces. My summer pieces includes camisoles, shorts, rompers, loose tops and dresses like this one.
I wore this outfit on an afternoon stroll at The Outlets, Pueblo Verde at Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City.
I just love how the dress seems so effortless but still doesn’t sacrifice style and comfort, which is very important to me. It is one of those staple pieces in your wardrobe where you can wear whenever you feel lazy in dressing up but still looks like you spent hours coming up with the look.
Paired my dress with my abused laced up sandals, white shoulder bag and top it all off with a floppy hat!
P.S. Please ignore my knees. I had an incident a few weeks ago which scraped both my knees. T_T

Oh btw, we’re half way through the month of August which only means one thing – Christmas is fast approaching!! I can’t believe it, I felt like yesterday was just the start of the year and now we are starting the Ber months in a couple of days. I feel like life is moving so fast, okay maybe not Usain Bolt fast but you get the idea! 😀
