Can you believe this residence turned lifestyle and leisure destination is just located in the heart of metro Cebu? Yes I’m talking about another addition to your favorite dinner destination that is Circa 1900.
Let me welcome you to Circa 1900 Casa Dos. Lucky for us, we had the chance to visit the place before it officially opened, twice! First was when we had a fun shoot with Gail Geriane when the place was still under construction and second was when we had another shoot for Circa 1900 a week before Casa Dos’ opening day (which I can’t wait to share to you once it’s out!)
Casa Dos includes The Nochery, it is a gelato station and air conditioned pastry work shop at the same time. This is a place where artists, musicians and craftsmen can showcase their skills, interact with the public and display their completed products, including pastry products on display as end products of the pastry workshop. This venue is provided with the purpose to foster community spirit and to encourage the practice of a specific art skill.
Right across The Nochery is CICADA, a tapas bar and alfresco casual dining. It is known for its casual comfort food for lunch and in between meals, tapas and drinks before dinner or for after dinner drinks.
During our visit when these photos were taken, Cicada wasn’t fully opened yet, which explains the lack of display in the bar area. I will definitely share more of Cicada and its offerings on the next post!
If you wish to celebrate your special day here or maybe looking for a place to hold an event, Casa Dos also has a function space available indoors on the second floor and also outdoors. The function space includes Galleria Jereza for 60 (left side on the photo above) and the Belvedere (photo below).
The Beleverde is an open air function venue suitable for garden weddings, children’s party, pool side party and as a venue for Yoga, Zumba, Pilates or Tai Chi. The atmosphere and ambiance of this venue will be its competitive advantage, as nowhere in the city where the location is accessible that can provide this kind of atmosphere.
On top of it all, Casa Dos offers Dip and Dine for only P500*. This includes a consumable P300 on food and drinks from Cicada and the remaining P200 is for the use of pool. I suggest you contact the place ahead of time if you have plans to avail this to avoid conflicts on other function events on the day of your visit.

To make everything clear, the once called Circa 1900 is now known Circa 1900 Casa Uno and the new addition (just beside Casa Uno) is called Circa 1900 Casa Dos, making the whole place called Circa 1900! I hope I didn’t confuse you!
Circa 1900 Casa Dos is located at Sanjercasvil Road, Gorordo Avenue, Lahug, Cebu City, Philippines. Open daily from 10AM until 12MN. The swimming pool is open as early as 7AM until 10PM.
