Who would have thought there’s a hidden paradise in the mountains of Dalaguete, Cebu?
It was a random weekday when me and my siblings decided to visit our elder sister who is currently staying in Dalaguete. We were able to visit the place where my sister was staying before so this time, we wanted to check some other place nearby and this is where we found out about Enchanted Mountain Cebu.
Once you enter the mountain resort, you will then be greeted by Enchanted Mountain’s Castle, which stores the restaurant and main reception area on the main floor, Castle rooms on the 2nd floor and a roof deck which I believe can serve as an event place.
The resort owner happens to be the Auntie of my sister’s college batchmate which was kind enough to accommodate us at that time. During our weekend getaway, it wasn’t quite open to the public yet (but it is now!!), so a few construction works were still going on the side but didn’t really bother our visit. I had a quick chat with one of their staff and he mentioned a lot are still in the works (a zipline and a second pool area perhaps? but you didn’t hear that from me ha hehehe). So exciting!!
What I really love about this place is the greenery that surrounds it. It’s definitely a place to escape the city! 💚
How to get there?
Hop on a bus going to Oslob (or any bus that will pass Dalaguete) from South Bus Terminal. The Bus ride costed us P150/pax for one way. You can opt to be dropped off at Dalaguete proper and and from there, ride a tricyle/motorcycle to Enchanted Mountain Resort. Just tell them the resort in Brgy Lumbang. Ride from the town proper will cost you around 70 pesos each to the resort. Else, if you’re lucky that your bus conductor knows the drop off point to Enchanted Mountain Cebu (eskina Balatik, kanang sa BB Gemma), that will only cost you a motorbike ride of 30 pesos each to the mountain resort.
