Rico’s Lechon is Back with a Flagship Restaurant in Mandaue City, Cebu!

Good news to us Cebuanos because Cebu’s best tasting Rico’s Lechon is back and is set to open its biggest restaurant on Friday, June 28, 2019, 11:30 a.m. at Unit F1 Jamestown, Mantawi International Drive, Mandaue City!

I am fortunate enough to be invited over for the press media launch yesterday before it officially opens to the public on Friday. And look what greeted us the moment we walked in:

RICO’S BEST TASTING LECHONNNNN! I’m drooling already hoho but let me share to you first more details about this flagship store before we talk about the food.

This 500 sq. m. branch will be the brand’s flagship outlet and will have a seating capacity of 300 pax, including four VIP rooms for meetings, gatherings and special functions with family and friends. The largest room can seat up to 80 guests, while the other three can each accommodate 20 pax.

If you are concern about parking then fret not because with this large of a space, comes with a huge area for parking as well!

I love how the place is making us diners feel like at home in their contemporary classic interiors. It is said to be designed to showcase the “Old Cebu with a Twist”. It also houses a Lechon Fulfillment Center for whole lechon orders and take out counter for pasalubong such as their in-house sauce, sukalami. Aside from food favorites, merchandise such as shirts, mugs and umbrellas are also available.

They will also be offering new dishes, namely Grilled Pork Belly, Grilled Daing na Bangus, Ginataang Laing, Chicken Binakol, Beef Ampalaya, Sizzling Adobong Pusit, Buttered Mixed Seafoods, Seaweed Salad, Sisig Fried Rice, Chorizo Fried Rice, Sinigang na Bone-less Bangus, Sinigang na Baka at Baboy, and Seafood Sotanghon.

Rico’s Lechon in Mandaue (near Parkmall, Big Hotel, Chong Hua Hospital and Sugbo Mercado Mandaue) will be its second outlet in Cebu, the other being in Mactan Promenade. It will soon reopen its Axis Entertainment Avenue, Escario next month.
