Three weeks of glossy shine chip-free nail polish? Yes, please! 

Nailaholics Nail Salon & Spa, the country’s leading nail salon chain, recently got a big upgrade by deciding to use only Gelish® Soak-Off Gel Polish for all its gel manicure services, including gel manicure, pedicure and extensions. As a first time visitor at Nailaholics with zero experience of having gel nail polish, I was very excited during my visit. Read on as I take you with me in this nail experience!

First impression always last and as you guys know I love the beach and that is exactly what I felt the moment I stepped inside the salon. After I did a quick registration at the counter, I was then escorted to the couches and they even let me choose to which area I am comfortable to stay to have my nails done.

They soaked my feet with some water (not exactly sure if there was a special formula in it to warm up my cuticles or something) and then wrapped it with a towel. They also did the same with my hands.

Now to start with my Manicure.

Of course, cleaning of nails and cuticles was done like the usual. I heard Nailaholics’ nail technicians are some of the best in the industry and I couldn’t agree more! They made sure they provide a clean and relaxing time to each and every customer they have.

After cleaning of nails, they made sure to dehydrate my nails with the use of this Gelish® Mini pH Bond Dehydrator. This is also used as a base of my gel nail polish.

Time to seal it using a LED gel light. Unlike other gel polish brands that take one to two minutes to cure, Gelish® Soak-Off Gel Polish in only 30 seconds with standard UV lamp and even less when used with its 18G LED lamp, which uses 3rd generation LED Gel Light. No more waiting for two to four hours just to get your nails done.

..and tadaaaa! My manicure is done. So shiny I love it!

On to my pedicure. I didn’t expect it but Ms. Cheng did a quick foot massage after cleaning my nails. Nice!
