Canvas Bistro Bar and Gallery finally moved to a new and improved location at Paseo One, along Maria Luisa road, Banilad after six years in Ayala Center Cebu Terraces. With their new location, the Chefs are happy that Canvas is no longer positioned as a “mall restaurant” and they are still working on blackboard specials to add variety in the selection and to challenge their creativity.

Known for serving modern Australian cuisine, Canvas Bistro Bar and Gallery continues to serve quality food using the freshest local ingredient available and prepared in a way that contributes to the health and well-being of the guest.

 As one of the attendees on their opening launch, We had the chance to taste a few of their dishes, among of them are the newest addition to their menu – Thai Fish Cakes with Cucumber Dipping Sauce, Whole Wheat Triple Decker with, Ham, Egg, Chicken, Cheese & Salad, Tangigue Simmered in Coconut Vinegar, Soy, Citrus & Ginger on Asian Vegetable Rice to name a few. Gluten free dishes have also been included.

They are also featuring a different artist every month. On our visit, it was Lino Venzal’s artworks that are on display. He’s a painter from Argao town with amputated arms. It was an honor to meet such talented man despite of his condition.
